Pierre me fesait part dans un commentaire de sa douloureuse experience du baseball, alors oui c'est vrai que pour nous les europeens c'est pas trop le sport national, bon en meme temps aux U.S ils sont content quand ils mettent 1-0 aux Suisses au soccer alors on peut pas etre bon partout....Eux c'est le baseball, nous le soccer et les brebis seront bien gardees. Mais moi bravant les lois de la nature j'ai voulu m'interesser a ce sport si etranger a notre culture, et au final ben c'est pas complique je vais tout t'expliquer (comme dirais H.Des). Alors un game est compose de 9innings, 1inning etant compose de au maximum 3 strikes et 4 balls. Donc tu as le top du inning et le bottom du inning, ou chaque equipe vas pitcher et ensuite batter. Donc le but c'est de faire des home run sois en petant la gueule d'un spectateur dans les tribunes au quel cas aucun catcher ne sera able de catcher the ball tu te doutes bien, ou sinon en loadan les bases. Tu batt un bon coup les catcheurs ne chope pas la balle du premiere coup (sinon tu es out) et la tu cours en first base, quand les bases sont loader tu run back home et tac un point pour ton equipe! Mais les catcheur (1 en left field, 1 en center field, 1 en right field), ben c'est des betes ces gars et souvent tes out parce qu'il catche le truc right away.... au bout de trois batters out ben on echange les roles. Ya des ptits trucs important a savoir genre que si tu foul a ball la premiere fois ca compte comme un strike mais apres plus, donc tu peux fouler un max tu fatigues le pitcher et c'est tout benef' pour ta team puisque tu restes sur le field! Apres a Boston on a le green monster c'est un wall super tricky ou c'est dur de catcher pour les catcheur donc faut bien viser dans ce coin la si tu veux faire un home run ou au moin loader des bases. Humm je crois que la ta dja des bonnes bases pour le debut apres si je commence a te dire que si le pitcher pitch mal trois fois ben tu vas direct en first base ou encore que tu peux voler des bases ben tu vas etre perdu nan? Just had a weekend full of emotion here in frogland-lost miserably (again) to the Argie Bargies and the radio still announces the 4th place for France in the Championship--they don't realise that 4th place is NOWHERE man,it's the same as 16th place -it's OUT,LOST,USELESS.Only the first 3 places count.
Great Saturday night--England LOST..to less of a degree than France but lost anyway,not much of a game but it's the result that counts.
The end of the match was highlighted by an interview with Frances illustrious President Mr.Filmmefromgroundlevelonly Nikola Starkosy who gave us a very good impression of Droopy-the lads a born comic.It appears that he isn't in the best of health,looks depressed,wouldn't look at the camera stared at the ground,mumbled a few phra@ses on the lines of..can't win them all-Cecilia probably loved it-it was pathetic enough.As for her ,the latest "in"game is-who's spotted Cecilia? Last seen on friday in Geneva spending some of the money she earned by staying with that pompous nabbo until after the Elections,we all know that nobody would vote for a divorced dwarf!!
Jeez even Bush looks more like a President than this nabbo
oh well there's always the football....

Keep up the reports,we look forward to them, glad to see the americs have another sense to the word STRIKE!!
